Roll Up Roll Up To The Greatest Show On Earth
Anyone who knows The Firecracker Ball knows that it is one of Yorkshire’s finest social occasions. Held in a marquee at Rudding Park, Harrogate, the ball has raised in excess of £3million for Barnardo’s. Year on year The Angels Events work tirelessly to out do the year before, with bigger and better entertainment and decor. The Circus themed event was no exception. The marquee was bespoke lined with red and yellow pleated fabric to emulate a big top tent. The flooring was built on split levels, with sweeping steps taking guests through the big top to each seating area.
Between the sea of red and yellow tables adorned with circus themed table centres, circus podiums gave home to acrobats, strong men and a wide variety of other circus performers, wowing guests as they found their tables and enjoyed Rudding Park’s finest 3 course meal, which as with any themed event, was designed with the theme in mind. Over the central circular red dance floor aerial artists performed a spectacular display on ropes and silks, while ringmaster Jon Hammond rallied guests for the main event of the evening – the live auction, followed by a performance by girl band All Saints.
