Established over 15 years ago, The Firecracker Ball is now known in Yorkshire to be one of the finest social events of the year. Held in a marquee at Rudding Park, Harrogate, the ball has raised in excess of £3million for Barnardo’s, with the majority of tables taken by individuals and corporates based in Leeds and the surrounding areas.

Themed decor isn’t only reserved for charity balls, as a corporate events agency The Angels Events often encourage our corporate clients to build a new level to their annual events by adding a theme. From Wizard of Oz to a Venetian Masked Ball, The Angels Events can theme any space and provide the perfect entertainment to keep your guests captivated throughout.

To create a Rio Carnival theme, The Angels Events dressed the starlit marquee ceiling with hundreds of metres of bunting, ribbon and flags, while on the ground, Brazilian dance troops with enormous feathered headdresses and sequinned costumes paraded between a sea of brightly coloured tables. Each of the 800 chairs was dressed with a coloured chair cover to match the cloths, and the tables were dressed with a number of different Carnival themed table centres. From illuminated LED palm trees and arrangements of bird of paradise and palms, to coloured candelabra and rotating ribbon chandeliers, guests were fully emerged in the theme, and could really have been in Rio!
