With its rich luxury heritage, coupled with stunning formal gardens and enchanting grounds, the Grade II listed Grantley Hall offers a magnificent setting to create unforgettable wedding day memories. The entrance journey alone along the sweeping road following the River Skell, past historic woodland and manicured Rill Gardens, is enough to leave guests speechless. So when Abigail and James came to The Angels Events with a requirement for contemporary styling and Grantley Hall as their venue of choice, The Angels Events began to design and plan the perfect modern wedding.
Following a beautiful wedding ceremony at a nearby parish church, guests arrived at the resplendent estate to clear blue October skies, and celebrated the new Mr & Mrs with a glass of champagne on the lawn of The Grantley Suite, overlooking Grantley Hall in all its grandeur. Guests soon made their way through to the wedding breakfast, taking note of their tables from a large etched acrylic stand, and finding their seats by way of personalised embroidered napkins. Floral tones were matched to those in the Groom’s family tartan, with warm golden accents in keeping with the modern wedding decor.
As the sun set and the world class all-live band played their last song, guests moved to Valeria’s Champagne and Cocktail Bar, and continued to dance the night away to a trio of DJ, bongos and sax.
