Let’s be honest… We all need something positive to look forward right now, don’t we?! Once the dust settles and life begins to return to normal, it would be amazing to get all of your nearest and dearest together for a garden party, wouldn’t it? The Angels Events have the perfect solution for you: an entire weekend of celebrations, included in the hire of just one tent structure! A relaxed afternoon BBQ with your family, a summer soiree with your friends or business connections, and children’s party for the little ones to reunite with their friends too! This is a solution we’ve provided previously, and we can create something similar just for you, completely bespoke to your own needs and tastes.

We’d recommend making the most of your outside space by hiring in an open-sided structure such as a stretch tent, just in case! Let’s face it, in this country we are often faced with the weather either being too hot or the dread of an unexpected shower, and the solution of a stretch tent provides perfect cover (whatever the forecast!) in your garden. When planning the event pictured below we worked alongside a fabulous tent company called Hire and Style, who are also based in North Yorkshire. They provided a small stretch tent, measuring 6mtr square – we think this is the perfect size for a pop-up party for 40 guests, but there’s always the option of a 6x10mtr tent (or bigger) for those who’ll have higher guest numbers! We love working with these tents as they’re so adaptable and come in a huge range of sizes and colours. They can even be attached directly to buildings – a perfect way to extend an existing party space.

We would then look at appointing suppliers to curate a range of beautiful furniture for your party – either smart, upscale furnishings for a more elegant style, or rustic wooden furniture for a more relaxed feel. Some comfortable lounge furniture is a must, for guests to sit down and have a much needed catch up! If the party is later in the summer or getting into autumn then the evenings will most likely be getting cooler, so we would recommend hiring some patio heaters and baskets of cosy blankets to keen guests warm. Styling items such as festoon lights and gorgeous lanterns filled with candles are a fabulous way to add warmth to your party décor too – there are so many options here, which will really personalise your event.

A bar structure (complete with an experienced bar-tending team) is a must – because who doesn’t need a refreshment on a warm day? Champagne is always a classic choice, or a craft gin and tonic. For the kids, a healthy fruit smoothie or mocktail will certainly go down a treat! In terms of food, the sky is your limit… Plump for some indulgent fine-dining, relaxed antipasti grazing stations, or street food such as gourmet pie and mash or delicious tacos. We are well-connected with a whole host of different caterers, so can source the perfect partners to create anything your heart desires.

The mood can be set with some background music, or we can make your entertainment more of a focal point with an acoustic guitarist or jazz trio.
